Approaches of Image Processing

Digital image processing is far from being a simple transpose of audio signal principles to a two dimensions space. Image signal has its particular properties, and therefore we have to deal with it in a specific way. The Fast Fourier Transform, for example, which was such a practical tool in audio processing, becomes useless in image processing. Oppositely, digital filters are easier to
create directly, without any signal transforms, in image processing.

There are five simple approaches of Image processing which are following as
1)      The color data: vector representation
2)      Immediate applications to filters
3)      Grayscale transforms: light and contrast
4)      Resizing and rotating algorithms
5)      Blending
