AD Hoc Network

An ad hoc network consist of collection of wireless mobile nodes that are capable of communicating with each other without the use of a network infrastructure.

Due to open medium, dynamic topology and constrained capability of network there also have some security issues in data communication.

Mobile Ad hoc network holds the promise of anytime, anywhere connection to information in the areas that may have little or no infra structure.

MANETS are extremely vulnerable to various network attacks.
